Many of Rose’s dreams are inherited, a legacy passed down from one generation to the next. Rose first learned about microfinance from her mother, who had also taught her, at a young age, the art of sewing and crocheting. Owning a business that sold their family designs, with their focus on carefully constructed geometric patterns, was a vision that Rose and her mother crafted together. Over the years, Rose has added dreams of her own. Rose is now in the eleventh cycle of her microfinance loan, and her dream of sharing her products outside of Zambia is now coming true.
